Who is eligible for joining this community?

1. Eligible for registration on this website is any former student, teacher, or member of staff who attended or worked at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, Germany.
2. We are asking everyone, who was already registered on the old website, to please register again.

The registration process works via two-way authentication. When you submit your registration, you will receive a system-generated e-mail confirming that we have received it. - Please check your spam folder. - Your registration will then be reviewed by us. You won't be able to log on, until your registration has been verified. Upon successful verification of your registration, you will receive an e-mail with a link which you need to follow in order to finalize this process. Then you will be able to log on.

What does "Category" on the registration page mean?

The category represents your graduation class, such as Class of 1980 or Class of 2018, or whether you were a teacher or member of staff at school. 

Please choose the year of your High School Diploma of those years where the Abitur was accomplished after 13 years of school.

If you left JFKS prior to your graduation, please choose the year you would have graduated with your class. Otherwise it may be difficult for your classmates to find you.

Why doesn't my password work?

Most likely because you haven't registered with this new website yet. The URL is the same, but we didn't migrate any user data from the old website. Therefore, as an alumni please register again.

Why didn't I receive any confirmation e-mail?

Please check your spam folder. You should receive a confirmation e-mail right after registering. Then, once we were able to confirm your eligibility you will receive another e-mail with a link which you need to confirm. This is referred to as the double opt-in method.

Can I search the directory by location?

Yes! The directory search is not limited to people's names. In the first search field you can search for job title, company, city, state, industries, academic title, and of course, the names of your classmates. In the second search field you can search by class of high school diploma or Abitur, teachers or staff.

I am not getting the results I expected. Is the information correct?

The directory is only as good as the information provided. Since not all data is mandatory, the search may result in certain records not being found, or only limited information being displayed.

Who has access to the online directory?

All registered and confirmed JFKS Berlin alumni, former teachers and members of staff have access to the online directory and information on the website.
